Te Hau Awhiowio
A full rebuild of a circa 1970’s building to fit it out with a custom medical centre. This project was delivered on time and on budget. This project was “Highly Commended” in the Building Institute of New Zealand under $10m Awards 2025. The project was described as “an innovative, sustainable health facility on challenging reclaimed land, overcoming complex technical and structural issues with recycled plastic fibre concrete technology and strong contractor collaboration. Their culturally responsive approach, including local artist involvement and universal design, created a space truly reflective of its community. Delivered on time and under budget, this project exemplifies empathetic leadership, environmental responsibility, and excellence in client care”.
